~ 2009 Winter
Inter-School Sport ~
We were able to conduct weekly Winter Sport for the first
time in three years.
Murrumbeena made the most of every opportunity.
Congratulations
and well done to all our Winter Inter-School teams.
They demonstrated improved
skills, team-work and good sportsmanship over the past 8 weeks.
Many thanks to the teachers for their help preparing the teams and
refereeing or umpiring the games.
It was also good to have numerous parents attend the games each week
and
show their support.
BDPSSA

The weather was cool and rainy, but the competition was 'RED

Murrumbeena were runners-up this year to a strong and very
talented St Peter's team.
Well done to all the MPS Swimming Team members and reserves.

Weet-Bix
Tryathlon
~
We had 90+ participants
again this year but not enough to top the "most entries" list.
It was great to see we had maintained our numbers
despite the poor weather last year and cricket finals on the same
day.
