Sports Dress Up Day and Special Lunch

Each year we traditionally have a ‘Footy Day’ as we are nearing the AFL grand final. The Global Citizenship team reflected on this day and have decided they would like it to be more inclusive of all sports and genders. Therefore this year we are having a ‘Sports Colours Day’.

Sports Colours Day will be held on Thursday the 14th of September, the second last day of term 3.

We are also going to combine this with the gold coin donation, usually held on the last day of term. The Student Representative Council has identified Story Dogs as the charity to receive the donations from this day.

The canteen is offering A Sports Day lunch on this day for $10.
The offer would consist of :
meat pie or vegetable pastie with sauce
slice of chocolate cake
Icy pole stick

The Global Citizenship team will be running a lunchtime activity (TBD) which all students will have the opportunity to participate in.
