Student Representative Council

Our SRC is made up of two students from each class in Grades 1–6, elected by their peers at the beginning of the year. The SRC meets every second week to discuss ideas and issues raised by students, as well as topics from teachers and Mrs Plumb.

Throughout the year, the SRC has been involved in several initiatives, including:

  • Researching and comparing options for new water taps on the oval.
  • Creating a new “Club Request Form” for students wanting to start their own clubs and helping to share the process with their classes.
  • Collecting song suggestions from each class for new bell music.
  • Organising a teacher appreciation video for World Teachers’ Day, where students shared messages about what they love about their teachers.
  • Surveyed the students for what improvements could be made in the physical environment which led to new net ball rings and nets behind the goal.
  • Each term SRC chooses a charity to donate to for free dress day.

The SRC provides students with a voice in school decisions and helps promote leadership, teamwork, and communication across the school community.
